Their music was all over the AM radio when I was a youngster, and I knew all the lyrics, but I didn't really know the band, or perhaps I should say John Sebastian. John is an NRBQ fan, and performed with them often in the 80s, and it was through this connection I revisited the Spoonful. Sebastian and the Spoonful have written some great pop songs. Songs that to me seem as if they just always existed on my radio.
